Engineer and designer of the electronics in our gadgets, leader of the electrician team.
At the Kraken, our leaders guide each gadget through the manufacturing process from planning to handover. The Lead Electronics Engineer assesses the feasibility, creates the designs, transitions them to, and oversees the manufacturing of our gadgets’ electronics.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to conceptualize the functionality of gadgets.
- Develop designs, including connection diagrams, PCB layouts, and manufacturing instructions.
- Lead and mentor a team of electricians, ensuring accurate realization of designs.
- Manage timelines for planning, manufacturing, and testing of electronic components.
- Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure material availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in KiCAD, BricsCAD, Visual Studio Code.
- Experience with microcontroller-based designs such as ATMega 2560 or RP2040.
- Solid understanding of electronics engineering principles, methods, and technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Hungarian.
Location and workhours
This position is located at our primary manufacturing facility in Tura, Hungary. We offer a distinctive 4-day workweek, with full-day breaks on Wednesdays.

Workhours: 8:00 - 18:30 on Mon,Tue,Thu,Fri
